TC SE 'Simulation and Education' (planned)

Education and teaching on the one side and simulation at the other side have since longe time a very intensive interplay:

  •  first, there is a need for education and teaching in modelling and simulation,
  • second, simulation has become an essential tool for education and teaching,
  • third, basic mathematical education in engineering is more and more based on simulation – within blended learning environments,
  • and fourth, training simulators play an essential role in professional education since the very beginning of simulation ,

The planned EUROSIM TC SE 'Simulation and Education' intends to deal with these four topics, concentrating first on e-learning- and blended learning environments based on simulation and mathematics, by organising special sessions and workshops at EUROSIM events by preparing / stimulating publications in this area.
